Hailing from Charleston, SC, McKenna Andrews is setting the music universe on FIRE with her EP 'Who Knew' and her single cover of Me & Bobby McGee.
Had dinner (4 adults, 2 children) here and very pleased…when I asked about salad recommendation he suggested the crab cake and fried green tomato which was TERRIFIC! Others had Fish special, fried shrimp, etc and everyone was pleased – even the kids!! No room for dessert but we took a piece of key lime pie for later and it was delicious! Would definitely return!
This place caught our eye as we were driving by. We stopped in for and appetizer and desert and were pleasantly surprised by the nice outdoor atmosphere. We had the Mac and Cheese then Key Lime pie and Black Forest Cake. The live music was good.
We had in house smoked pastrami, smoked wings 2 different ways, fried oysters and seared tuna. They were all exceptional. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their meals equally. The portion size was more than ample and the prices reasonable. I would like to thank Chef Paul and Brie for a memorable evening. I highly recommend the Rusty Rudder for great food and service.
Visiting friends in South Carolina and decided to do a side trip to Charleston area. The Rusty Rudder was recommended to us so we gave it a try. I’m glad we did. From the minute we went through the front door we were met with gracious hellos and greetings.
Some of the finest she crab soup I’ve ever tasted! Our waiter was very polite and attentive without being intrusive. It’s a place I’ll revisit!
A bit out of town but well worth the drive. I’ve always been pleased with my meals here. Their smoked meats are exceptional! I had their ribs and brisket. Both meal were very good. Very friendly wait staff. Call for reservations. It’s s popular spot. Go there and you’ll see why.
Had a great time and the Mac & Cheese is the best definitely going back.
Great food and atmosphere with live entertainment! Perfect for small groups.
