Born and raised in Kemptown, MD just outside of DC and Baltimore and started playing guitar at the age of 10. He learned Sweet Home Alabama and was hooked ever since. My first performances were at local churches and high school talent shows.

Jason studied Jazz and Classical guitar at Frederick Community College and after graduation headed south, about as far south as you can go, Miami, FLA. I studied Jazz guitar at Florida International University where he was introduced to a good friend and we soon performed all over Miami as a duo.

He headed back north to MD where he met another great friend and was asked to arrange original songs from piano to guitar and soon after recorded a seven song CD “It Can’t be Me” in 2007. Jason had the privilege to record his arrangements, acoustic and electric guitar, lead and rhythm as well as electric bass.

In 2014 it was time to head south again, where he found an incredibly awesome place, Charleston, SC. He has performed over 300 times in venues ranging from charity events to nightclubs and I’m currently having fun gigging around town.

    Influences
His earliest influence was the legendary Southern Rock Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, music for the blue collar worker. He quickly discovered bands like Led Zeppelin, Stevie Ray Vaughn and ZZ Top just to name a few, as there are hundreds! After he found his singing voice, his influences included performers like Tom Petty, John Mellencamp, Merle Haggard, Allman Brothers, Charlie Daniels, and the Marshall Tucker Band.
