Currie Wayne Clayton Jr's love of music started at a very young age. From a family of avid musicians, he began playing the drums when he was only 3 years old. When he was 15 he picked up his older sister’s guitar determined to learn how to play and has been unable to put it down since. Currie has played in various bands through the years and has traveled the mid-west and the east coast entertaining audiences on a professional level for over 15 years. He tried unsuccessfully on several occasions to work 8-5 jobs but his love of music always pulled him back into the entertainment industry.Currently, Currie can be seen performing up and down the east coast appearing individually, with a trio or with his full band Currie Clayton & Last Call. His incredible guitar playing never fails to amaze audiences and the variations in his genre of music range from the Eagles to Tim McGraw to Metallica. His performances also include originals, all of which are written from his heart and from personal experiences through his life’s journey. His first CD was released in September of 2003 and is entitled Carolina Red Mud and dedicated to the memory of his father Currie Wayne Clayton, Sr. who passed suddenly in May 2003.Through each triumph and disappointment Currie has found solace in his guitar and his music.... Charleston South Carolina based Whiskey Diablo write, record and preform music that one listener eloquently described as "gutter country, jazz and swing cut with booze drenched chainsaw rock n roll". Another listener described it as "the soundtrack to a Quentin Tarantino film."
Whiskey Diablo strives to deliver each show with a sweaty celebration of freedom, chaos and individualism as if it's the last night it will ever happen. With both traditional and unconventional methods, their music takes on a range of topics such as mortality, travel, love, existentialism, personal and societal obstacles, promiscuous women, appalachian lives and the debauchery that inevitably ensues during and after a show. The band's shows draw mix of bar flies, bikers, boaters, cooks, bartenders, philosophers, rebels, mechanics, outdoorsmen, surfers, farmers and artists. While Whiskey Diablo unites a crowd with profound and irresponsible subject matters; it is the sheer sake of hedonism, authenticity and a good laugh in the vein of the old big band crooners that keeps folks coming back for an unpredictable night. Whiskey Diablo's first show was on July 20th 2011 and has played over 700 shows since then.

With a genuine combination of American soul and an upbeat pop-rock style, Matt has emerged as one of the go-to indie front men in the southeastern U.S. He first cut his teeth in the music scene of Orlando Florida during his time at Rollins College while earning a degree in vocals, composition and guitar. In 2008, Matt was lured to Charleston along the South Carolina coast—where his single “Drive” has been regularly featured on radio at 105.5 The Bridge. When around home, Matt also performs regularly at the iconic venue The Windjammer…perhaps best-known as a launchpad for Darius Rucker’s Hootie & The Blowfish. Matt’s trademarks are a big voice, authentic songwriting, personable nature and an extra dose of funny.

Carolina Children’s Charity has been a community organization from the very beginning. The Charity was created by local volunteers committed to meeting the needs of local children with birth defects and/or childhood diseases.

We were founded in October 1987 by a group of experienced and dedicated local volunteers, many of whom are still very involved with the Charity today. With the dedication and commitment of the Tri-County Fire Chiefs Association, WCBD NBC 2, Lowcountry firefighters, and many other local groups, we are able to assist thousands of Lowcountry families when their child is diagnosed with a birth defect and/or childhood disease.
